Walk and Chalk

April showers bring may flowers, but this time it also brought my favorite spring event, the Savannah Sidewalk Arts Festival. Every year, the scaddies grab their chalk and make masterpieces on their concrete canvases.

This time I was glad to have my boyfriend in town for a picnic in the park. We rolled out our blankets, and of course the wine, and watched the squirrels play while we soaked up the sun.

My favorite part was strolling down the park, hand in hand, looking at each art piece down the path. To top off the trip, we ended up at the forsyth fountain. What better way to spend a Sunday fun- day?

Victoria’s Secret Spreads it’s Wings in Savannah

In the past few weeks, several stores were scheduled to hit Broughton Street. Most importantly, one of my favorite brands landed in downtown Savannah: Victoria’s Secret. Naturally, i strolled into their grand opening to take a closer look.

Walking in, the rooms looked quite luxy, lined with satin and chandeliers. The setting transported you, making it feel as if you were in a high- end city shopping for the afternoon.

The shelves were full of luxurious lingerie and aromatics perfume. Each piece made you feel more than haute in the city.

As you can see this was a great escape, but now I have to get back from my lunch break…

Some Bunny Loves You

Over the weekend, my family headed down south to meet my boyfriend and I for and egg-celent Easter celebration.

It was Spring Break and we were beach bound, so we rented a happy little house on Tybee Island. The trip was full of fun, from bridal showers to beaches and brunches.

The highlight was having our holiday meal at my favorite eatery on the island, The Social Club. I ordered a mimosa flight, followed by fritatas and patatas.

The weekend was wrapped up in seersucker and tied up in a bow. What better way to end a Sunday?
