Palm Beach Pumpkin Patch

Fall is in full swing here in Palm Beach. This week I was able to visit one of my favorite shopping spots, The Royal Poinciana Plaza. Nestled between Stoney Clover and Love Shack Fancy, was the most insta-worthy pumpkin patch.

Now this isn’t your average Fall photo-op. Nicole Shaffer from Flower Love Palm Beach put a preppy twist on this Fall festivity, from pink pumkins and a wagon to pop in front of the picket fence.

The best part is when you finish snapping your selfies, you can shop at Stoney Clover and head over to the Honor Bar for a cocktail. This was a perfect ending to an Autumn day walking the Plaza with my best babes. I can’t wait to see what pop up is next over the holidays!

Swim Show 2021

So as you all may know, I have been in the fashion industry for over ten years now. Up until recently I have been working at the Breakers Hotel here in Palm Beach, managing the Polo Ralph Lauren store. I wanted to share that last week I officially accepted a new position right down the street, managing a boutique called Une Belle Trouvaille, French for ‘a beautiful find.’

This store houses a beautiful array of bohemian finds from all over. I was so excited to get started. This was my first week at my new store and my first order of business was to attend Miami Swim Week as a buyer. Talk about a dream come true!

I have been to several trade shows as a model, and even a sales representative, but this was my first time attending as a buyer. We received the cutest bracelets and swag bags at check in and were even treated to coconut drinks. They also offered several services from waxing, to bracelet making and more. I must say being a buyer has it’s perks, but first it was time to shop for the store.

The convention center was broken up into two sections, the Swim Show and the Cabana Show. We started at Cabana and made our way through the aisles of branded booths. It is definitely overwhelming at first, as there are hundreds of vendors, and thousands of new products to catch your eye so you have to stay focused.

In the morning we had a few appointments to see a few of our favorite lines. By the afternoon we took a break for lunch and scouted for new brands for the boutique. My favorites ranged from 9 Seed to Pitusa among others. We ended up buying everything from straw hats and bags to coverups and scarves. We were still on the hunt for swimwear so we were off to the Swim Show.

The first person I ran into was actually my sister who was modeling for Scandal. It was great shopping for the store with her and many more. We picked up a few more hats and visited a few of our new sales rep friends. By the end of the weekend we were ready for our reward… a stop by Eden Roc.

This iconic hotel housed several smaller shows, like Project and Destination and more. We made our way into Destination to discover some smaller resort brands we may have missed. We found a few great gems to buy for the boutique, before we had to hit the road. It was such a rush seeing so many up and coming brands. I learned a lot about the buying process, and i learned a ton of trends for the upcoming season.

Stay tuned to see what we chose by following Une Belle Trouvaille on instagram, and see us in store today at 251 Royal Poinciana way in Palm Beach!

A Day at Kips Bay

Last week my bestie Lindsay and I had the pleasure of visiting the Kips Bay Show House in Palm Beach. This is an exciting event that comes around every spring, in which different design teams take over a room inside a Mediterranean villa. They complete a total home makeover in just a short six weeks. The result is a beautiful exhibition of various interior design installations.

It was a fabulous Friday filled with beautiful designs and a great time. My girlfriend and I made our way past the bloggers and photographers to take a tour and explore. Each room had its own theme, ranging anywhere from palm beach chic, to modern and more! It was so interesting to see each designers take on their specific space.

My favorite part of the tour had to be the Palm beach inspired spaces, sprinkled with pink, palm leaves, shells, and summer vibes. This is certainIy my aesthetic so I was able to draw some design inspiration for my own home.

We ventured through the bedrooms covered in canopies and lush linens. We walked by the most beautiful closet, made  to look like an upscale store. But wait theres more… The wash rooms were an experience of their own, featuring tropical walls, and bath tubs surrounded by chandeliers. You could say it was a ‘suite’ retreat!

I even enjoyed seeing how the designers transformed otherwise mundane areas into an elevated experience. For example, they created a luxurious laundry room with lighted floors, and even a dog wash station. They truly thought of everything.

My last stop was to take a seat poolside and enjoy the rest of the day in the shade. It was another perfect afternoon in Palm Beach with my best babe. We can’t wait for the next event headed our way!

Blushing in Palm Beach

As we make our way into Valentines week, everyone always thinks about who they love and what makes them happy. Looking back at my past year here in Palm Beach, it makes me realize how far I’ve come and how important it is to love where you live.

Two years ago I was working as a fashion sales rep and living in South Carolina. One of my first trips led me to the destination of my dreams. On our first night, we checked into The Colony Hotel, grabbed a glass of champs, and made our way to Bice.

Walking down Worth, we wandered into the hidden vias full of shops and surprises. I soon stumbled across Via Amore, and found this great pink staircase. I was so inspired by this spot, I had to take a snapshot. This memory was a special part of my trip, and ever since, I have dreamed of starting a life here.

Fast forward to today, I have lived here a whole year, and I wanted to celebrate my new life under the palms. I came back to where it all began,at this very spot for a photoshoot.

It was such a great feeling to finally feel at home in a place you’ve always known you were meant to be. This week I wanted to show my love for Palm Beach, and the path that has led me here. I can’t wait for you all to see what this next year has in store!

In the meantime, dont forget to stop and smell the roses!

This amazing arrangement was carefully crafted by my dear friend and colleague, Alex, who has a floral business in Boca called Greensical. If you are in need of flowers for your galentine this week, make sure to visit her website today.

Baby I’m ‘Worth’ It

So ever since I moved to the Palm Beach area, I’ve always envisioned having my own dream photoshoot on the most renowned street in town, Worth Avenue. Today that dream came to life as my photographer and I wandered around the iconic avenue.

On my first visit here years ago, I stumbled across Via Amore, one of the hidden walkways with winding pink steps overlooking a tranquil courtyard. Fast forward to today, I stopped by my secret spot with my photo friend and crossed the street to find Mystique. This chic pink awning caught my eye and made for the perfect shot.

Walking further down the avenue, we strolled by everything from Lilly to Louis… and everything in between! We even wandered into art galleries to snap a few photos.

We had so much fun exploring the main street before the sun set. I can’t wait to show you all the rest of our shoot as we make our way through the rest of Worth Avenue.
