Blushing in Palm Beach

As we make our way into Valentines week, everyone always thinks about who they love and what makes them happy. Looking back at my past year here in Palm Beach, it makes me realize how far I’ve come and how important it is to love where you live.

Two years ago I was working as a fashion sales rep and living in South Carolina. One of my first trips led me to the destination of my dreams. On our first night, we checked into The Colony Hotel, grabbed a glass of champs, and made our way to Bice.

Walking down Worth, we wandered into the hidden vias full of shops and surprises. I soon stumbled across Via Amore, and found this great pink staircase. I was so inspired by this spot, I had to take a snapshot. This memory was a special part of my trip, and ever since, I have dreamed of starting a life here.

Fast forward to today, I have lived here a whole year, and I wanted to celebrate my new life under the palms. I came back to where it all began,at this very spot for a photoshoot.

It was such a great feeling to finally feel at home in a place you’ve always known you were meant to be. This week I wanted to show my love for Palm Beach, and the path that has led me here. I can’t wait for you all to see what this next year has in store!

In the meantime, dont forget to stop and smell the roses!

This amazing arrangement was carefully crafted by my dear friend and colleague, Alex, who has a floral business in Boca called Greensical. If you are in need of flowers for your galentine this week, make sure to visit her website today.

Kentucky Nights

This month we made our way up north for an eventful evening in Kentucky. It was a long drive through the night but the wedding was worth the wait. We walked into an enchanting church filled with friends and family. Everlasting love was in the air as the bride to be walked her way to wed.

The night was nothing short of glamorous, and I was happy to dresss the part. I picked my metallic maxi from none other than Lilly Pulitzer, and topped it off with a fab new fur. Let’s just say, watching the union was ever so lovely, but what’s better than a wedding? The party!

The reception was certainly a sight to see. We had great dates as we drank and danced the night away. What an awesome night filled with fun and new friends, I have to say I never wanted it to end…

Thanksgiving on the Rocks

thx2-1

Having moved farther away from home, the holidays have become even more special this season. Luckily, I had just 48 hours to hop down to my hometown just in time for some family fun!

I couldn’t wait to join my loved ones at the lake. It was so great to see my sisters and parents, but no trip would be complete without my puppies! My mom proudly showed off her new water features, as more family trickled in.

After everyone’s arrival, we were all treated to a fabulous lakeside lunch. I was thankful to share some sweet tea and sunshine with my sisters. The highlight was listening to my Gramie’s silly stories as the sun set.

And no great day is complete without the perfect ensemble. I stayed warm on this windy day, outfitted in my Burberry poncho and my luxe leather accessories gidled with gold accents. What a wonderful time to wish you all Happy Fall!

Some Bunny Loves You

Over the weekend, my family headed down south to meet my boyfriend and I for and egg-celent Easter celebration.

It was Spring Break and we were beach bound, so we rented a happy little house on Tybee Island. The trip was full of fun, from bridal showers to beaches and brunches.

The highlight was having our holiday meal at my favorite eatery on the island, The Social Club. I ordered a mimosa flight, followed by fritatas and patatas.

The weekend was wrapped up in seersucker and tied up in a bow. What better way to end a Sunday?

Sunkissed in St. Maarten

Recently I slipped away to Saint Maarten to see my boyfriend on his latest adventure. He works on a yacht, so he is away for three months at a time. Although, the upside is that I am able to visit him wherever he ends up, in the most fabulous tropical locations.

This luxury trip led me to the Sonesta Maho Beach All-Inclusive Resort, where we were just steps away from paradise. We went from sangrias at the swim up bar to sandcastles at sunset. The most unique part of this place was the proximity of low flying airliners, making it very popular with plane spotters. Beachgoers can get blown away by the jet blasts of outgoing planes, just 100 feet overhead (which you can see in my video at the end.)

And If you are wondering what heaven is like, I’d say this is pretty close! Traveling up the lush mountains, we came across this secluded sanctuary. And behind me? Well past the pool and the palm trees. Yes that is a dj booth… in a treehouse. Seriously, can life get an better than this?

This was such a sweet retreat, away from all the distractions we found absolute tranquility. And what better way to spend the day than with my handsome fella?

Be sure to check out the video above for all the exclusive access to our trip. Follow our adventures, from the underwater GoPro to the sky high drone, as we make our way through Saint Maarten.
