Palm Beach Pumpkin Patch

Fall is in full swing here in Palm Beach. This week I was able to visit one of my favorite shopping spots, The Royal Poinciana Plaza. Nestled between Stoney Clover and Love Shack Fancy, was the most insta-worthy pumpkin patch.

Now this isn’t your average Fall photo-op. Nicole Shaffer from Flower Love Palm Beach put a preppy twist on this Fall festivity, from pink pumkins and a wagon to pop in front of the picket fence.

The best part is when you finish snapping your selfies, you can shop at Stoney Clover and head over to the Honor Bar for a cocktail. This was a perfect ending to an Autumn day walking the Plaza with my best babes. I can’t wait to see what pop up is next over the holidays!

Catch of the Day

Over Memorial Day Weekend, I had the pleasure of joining my sister and friends on a deep sea fishing charter here in South Florida! Now I know you are thinking… this is not my kind of boat ride, and you may be right! We are more of booze cruise babes, but today I wanted to try something new. So we set sail for an afternoon on the stormy seas.

Now it wasn’t exactly smooth sailing, as the captain warned us about the five-foot waves ahead. It was a high speed chase to the open water as we crossed over into choppy seas.

Our captain tossed out the lines and dragged them through the sea and soon enough, we were able to reel in two big fish! We were even rewarded with a side-trip to the sandbar.  It was the perfect way to end the day as we sailed back at sunset.

Special thanks to Jana Angel at Living Local for chartering the trip, Captain Phil Ferreira-Alves

and Chase Wilcox for hosting us, and Found at Sea Charters for the fabulous footage!

Blushing in Palm Beach

As we make our way into Valentines week, everyone always thinks about who they love and what makes them happy. Looking back at my past year here in Palm Beach, it makes me realize how far I’ve come and how important it is to love where you live.

Two years ago I was working as a fashion sales rep and living in South Carolina. One of my first trips led me to the destination of my dreams. On our first night, we checked into The Colony Hotel, grabbed a glass of champs, and made our way to Bice.

Walking down Worth, we wandered into the hidden vias full of shops and surprises. I soon stumbled across Via Amore, and found this great pink staircase. I was so inspired by this spot, I had to take a snapshot. This memory was a special part of my trip, and ever since, I have dreamed of starting a life here.

Fast forward to today, I have lived here a whole year, and I wanted to celebrate my new life under the palms. I came back to where it all began,at this very spot for a photoshoot.

It was such a great feeling to finally feel at home in a place you’ve always known you were meant to be. This week I wanted to show my love for Palm Beach, and the path that has led me here. I can’t wait for you all to see what this next year has in store!

In the meantime, dont forget to stop and smell the roses!

This amazing arrangement was carefully crafted by my dear friend and colleague, Alex, who has a floral business in Boca called Greensical. If you are in need of flowers for your galentine this week, make sure to visit her website today.

Baby I’m ‘Worth’ It

So ever since I moved to the Palm Beach area, I’ve always envisioned having my own dream photoshoot on the most renowned street in town, Worth Avenue. Today that dream came to life as my photographer and I wandered around the iconic avenue.

On my first visit here years ago, I stumbled across Via Amore, one of the hidden walkways with winding pink steps overlooking a tranquil courtyard. Fast forward to today, I stopped by my secret spot with my photo friend and crossed the street to find Mystique. This chic pink awning caught my eye and made for the perfect shot.

Walking further down the avenue, we strolled by everything from Lilly to Louis… and everything in between! We even wandered into art galleries to snap a few photos.

We had so much fun exploring the main street before the sun set. I can’t wait to show you all the rest of our shoot as we make our way through the rest of Worth Avenue.

Lilly Pulitzer Loves Palm Beach

As many of you may know, I work for Lilly Pulitzer at the Breakers in Palm Beach. So I thought I would give you all a virtual tour of the top places to find Lilly in the town that it all started!

First stop… Worth Avenue. This is Palm Beach’s most luxurious street, lined with high end restaurants and boutiques. The first Lilly store was opened in the vias off of Worth Avenue in 1960. Fast forward to current day, the new flagship store arrived to Worth in 2018, right before I made my way to town.

This shop is more of a showroom than a store. The walls are a work of art, and the store has special features, like a juice stand and a make your own shift station. If you’re lucky, you might even see Melissa, one of Lilly’s artists, painting Lilly live!

Next stop, let’s hop on our bikes and head to The Breakers. This five-star resort is one of the most prestigious hotels in town. I must say, I am lucky to work at the Lilly store inside this idyllic destination.

Lilly Pulitzer is located in the heart of the hotel, The Palm Courtyard. This picturesque square of stores surrounds a serene area to relax by the fountain. Make your way through the doors to see our store, for an intimate shopping experience.

Walking in, you will see the walls are covered in colors and shells, and there is a coral chandelier overhead. As you make your way over to try on a signature shift, you will see the most delightful fitting rooms that make for a fab photo op! Be sure to pick up an exclusive Breakers tote and scarf to commemorate your stay. On your way out you will see our favorite farewell: “Do we have to leave?

I’m so happy here…”

After your stay, if you’re still in search for a Lilly fix, look no further than C. Orrico. This Palm Beach store was started by three chic sisters, right down the road. They carry Lilly Pulitzer, along with several other beachy brands, sure to please any local prepster.

I hope you have enjoyed your tour of all the fabulous Palm Beach Lilly stores. Stay tuned for more as I explore my new life beneath the palms!
