A Day at Kips Bay

Last week my bestie Lindsay and I had the pleasure of visiting the Kips Bay Show House in Palm Beach. This is an exciting event that comes around every spring, in which different design teams take over a room inside a Mediterranean villa. They complete a total home makeover in just a short six weeks. The result is a beautiful exhibition of various interior design installations.

It was a fabulous Friday filled with beautiful designs and a great time. My girlfriend and I made our way past the bloggers and photographers to take a tour and explore. Each room had its own theme, ranging anywhere from palm beach chic, to modern and more! It was so interesting to see each designers take on their specific space.

My favorite part of the tour had to be the Palm beach inspired spaces, sprinkled with pink, palm leaves, shells, and summer vibes. This is certainIy my aesthetic so I was able to draw some design inspiration for my own home.

We ventured through the bedrooms covered in canopies and lush linens. We walked by the most beautiful closet, made  to look like an upscale store. But wait theres more… The wash rooms were an experience of their own, featuring tropical walls, and bath tubs surrounded by chandeliers. You could say it was a ‘suite’ retreat!

I even enjoyed seeing how the designers transformed otherwise mundane areas into an elevated experience. For example, they created a luxurious laundry room with lighted floors, and even a dog wash station. They truly thought of everything.

My last stop was to take a seat poolside and enjoy the rest of the day in the shade. It was another perfect afternoon in Palm Beach with my best babe. We can’t wait for the next event headed our way!

Blushing in Palm Beach

As we make our way into Valentines week, everyone always thinks about who they love and what makes them happy. Looking back at my past year here in Palm Beach, it makes me realize how far I’ve come and how important it is to love where you live.

Two years ago I was working as a fashion sales rep and living in South Carolina. One of my first trips led me to the destination of my dreams. On our first night, we checked into The Colony Hotel, grabbed a glass of champs, and made our way to Bice.

Walking down Worth, we wandered into the hidden vias full of shops and surprises. I soon stumbled across Via Amore, and found this great pink staircase. I was so inspired by this spot, I had to take a snapshot. This memory was a special part of my trip, and ever since, I have dreamed of starting a life here.

Fast forward to today, I have lived here a whole year, and I wanted to celebrate my new life under the palms. I came back to where it all began,at this very spot for a photoshoot.

It was such a great feeling to finally feel at home in a place you’ve always known you were meant to be. This week I wanted to show my love for Palm Beach, and the path that has led me here. I can’t wait for you all to see what this next year has in store!

In the meantime, dont forget to stop and smell the roses!

This amazing arrangement was carefully crafted by my dear friend and colleague, Alex, who has a floral business in Boca called Greensical. If you are in need of flowers for your galentine this week, make sure to visit her website today.

Lilly Pulitzer Loves Palm Beach

As many of you may know, I work for Lilly Pulitzer at the Breakers in Palm Beach. So I thought I would give you all a virtual tour of the top places to find Lilly in the town that it all started!

First stop… Worth Avenue. This is Palm Beach’s most luxurious street, lined with high end restaurants and boutiques. The first Lilly store was opened in the vias off of Worth Avenue in 1960. Fast forward to current day, the new flagship store arrived to Worth in 2018, right before I made my way to town.

This shop is more of a showroom than a store. The walls are a work of art, and the store has special features, like a juice stand and a make your own shift station. If you’re lucky, you might even see Melissa, one of Lilly’s artists, painting Lilly live!

Next stop, let’s hop on our bikes and head to The Breakers. This five-star resort is one of the most prestigious hotels in town. I must say, I am lucky to work at the Lilly store inside this idyllic destination.

Lilly Pulitzer is located in the heart of the hotel, The Palm Courtyard. This picturesque square of stores surrounds a serene area to relax by the fountain. Make your way through the doors to see our store, for an intimate shopping experience.

Walking in, you will see the walls are covered in colors and shells, and there is a coral chandelier overhead. As you make your way over to try on a signature shift, you will see the most delightful fitting rooms that make for a fab photo op! Be sure to pick up an exclusive Breakers tote and scarf to commemorate your stay. On your way out you will see our favorite farewell: “Do we have to leave?

I’m so happy here…”

After your stay, if you’re still in search for a Lilly fix, look no further than C. Orrico. This Palm Beach store was started by three chic sisters, right down the road. They carry Lilly Pulitzer, along with several other beachy brands, sure to please any local prepster.

I hope you have enjoyed your tour of all the fabulous Palm Beach Lilly stores. Stay tuned for more as I explore my new life beneath the palms!

Blogger Brunch at the Colony

Recently I was invited to attend an exclusive blogger event at the prestigious Colony Hotel in Palm Beach. I couldn’t wait to pay this pretty pink hotel a visit.

If you haven’t booked a summer trip you must add it to your list. This boutique hotel is a blogger’s dream, from palm leaf lined halls to pink striped walls.

The patio was sprinkled with swag bags and stylish tablescapes from fabulous local businesses. The set-up was so inviting and truly tickled pink.

Our table was full of bloggers, instagrammers, models and more. It was the perfect platform for networking in my niche industry. We enjoyed speaking about Instagram strategies as we enjoyed our sweet little brunch snacks.

Our event would not be complete without a couple photo ops. My newfound friends and I hit the pool for a few pics and made our way inside to explore the polo lounge and more.

I cannot wait to get back together with these girls, create content, and continue to grow in my Palm Beach blogger community.

Stay tuned and follow along for our next gathering!

The Honda Classic

Spring has arrived and so has the Honda Classic. This event was yet another perk to living in Palm Beach. I couldn’t wait to make a trip to the tournament and enjoy the sunny Saturday.

The tournament started out with a sweet stranger giving me her ticket upon arrival. After that our first stop was for champagne, naturally. We marveled at the Moet tower and stopped for a photo op.

We poured a to-go glass and went to watch the tournament. On our way down the path, a ball brushed over our heads and landed by our feet. We watched as the crowds and cameras gathered around us. Our group  instantly had a front row seat for a final round! I must say this is the only golf we watched, but boy was it exciting.

Soon, my sister and I were sidetracked by none other than the Lilly Pulitzer lounge. You could say it was quite the ‘par-tee!’ They served signature cocktails out of printed tumblers, while you shopped the latest collection of golf gear. We had a blast meeting fellow blogger, “Amy Believes in Pink,” and playing in the photo booth.

Looking back, I was sad to see the tournament come to an end, but I was happy to head back to the resort for the fireworks. The finale wouldn’t be complete without an after party and hotel suite. What a great way to end a  great day here in PGA!
