Southern Skyline NYE Grand Ball 2018

As 2017 came to an close, we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than to attend the  New Years Ball. We popped champagne, put on our fur, and hit the dance floor.

Walking down the red carpet, this party was packed with celebs and concerts, from Southern Charm to Cheat Codes. From front row to VIP, the Meridian was the place to be in Charlotte, N.C.

As the clock stroke 12, the band started to jam, the crowd made it rain, and we were covered in champagne.

This year was a wild ride, but we couldn’t wait to go out with a bang! And what better way to ring in the New Year than with 4,000 of your closest friends?

A Car for Christmas

As the new year approaches so have new opportunities. This season I have been offered a fabulous new job that will allow me to travel all along the coast, and what better way to ride than in style?

Well it looks like Christmas came early this year. I have had my eye on this guy for a while now, but I had no idea this baby would be waiting on me wrapped in a big red bow! What better way to ring in the new year than with a 2017 Toyota RAV4 full of cheer?

I would like you all to meet Sugarbaby, named because she’s a hot young thing I’m putting all of my money into. Shes a limited edition with a push to start feature, moon roof, navigation, voice command, seat heat and more. What else could a girl ask for?

Special thanks to Kouri from Toyota of Rock Hill for finding these hot wheels.

Thankful for Family

The Angel family all started here, in Rock Hill South Carolina. Over the years, my sisters have moved and traveled up and down the coast. I am so thankful that over the holidays, no matter how busy we become, we always find our way back home.

These two girls are my heart and soul, Jana and Savannah. We may not see each other often, but when we do, the Angel girls are unstoppable. Being the second born, I am always caught in the ‘middle’ but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I am grateful for so much this year. This was the first time I could stay home through the holidays and I am so happy to spend it with everyone I love, from my parents to my puppies. Enjoying home-cooked meals and catching up with my grandmother are times I treasure. I can’t wait to come back for Christmas!

Angels in the End zone

I’ve got to say… it’s not fall without football! And when I heard the tigers and the wolfpack (two of my favorite teams) were playing each other, I was ready to run to Raleigh. You see, my dad played basketball for Clemson and my older sister played volleyball for N.C. State, so with all these family ties, we couldn’t resist bringing the whole ‘pack’ to the game.

We had the best morning brunching and boozing. Even if we lose the game we always win the tailgate. My sisters and I popped a few bottles and poured some mimosas and headed to join our crew at Lambda Chi Alpha. The wolfpack definitely knows how to party so it was tough to leave the tailgate.

Once we got to the game, I was in awe. The stands were sold out and the crowd was like no other. I couldn’t wait to root for my two favorite teams. This has to be the best way to spend the day: with family, friends, and football. Talk about a win- win!

Marriage on the Mountain

October is a gorgeous time of year… the air tuns crisp and the leaves fall from trees, and most importantly my friend gets married! My best friend and roommate from college planned her wedding in Colorado and I was honored to head up there not only as a best friend but as a bridesmaid.

It was a long trip to Silverthorne but the setting was totally worth it. We woke up to views of snow- capped mountains and tree lined trails. We started the morning off with mimosas in the bridal suite while getting wedding ready.

The nuptials took place next to a rushing river beneath a bridge, facing the sunset over the mountains. Walking down the aisle to sounds of the Beatles and seeing my best babes was icing on the wedding cake.

Watching Julie in her wedding dress she made herself head towards her groom brought tears to everyone’s eyes. I am so happy I was able to be a part of their love story and their special day. Congrats to Julie + Kyle!
