Don’t you wish you were on vacay year around? Well with this hot new collection you will feel like you are. Spring is the latest line to hit the Lilly stores, and it sure didn’t disappoint!

The first shipment of the season included new additions to their ever- popular lulxletic line. Here is a peek of my favorite piece and purchase, along with the rest of the rack.

After Party Aftermath

Lilly Pulitzer just hosted one of their hottest sales parties of the year. It was so exclusive you had to wait in a ‘virtual line’ to enter. This gave a whole new meaning to the term VIP.

Amongst all the craziness, i was able to score these two darling dresses! I had my eye on many more, but I was happy to come out with a few fab pieces. First is the Siena Dress featured in Summer Haze, perfect for a night out on the islands. Next is the Reecy Dress in I’m No Angel. You could say it was a match made in heaven, as Angel is my last name!

An added bonus was receiving a holiday bonus from my bosses. With this, I was able to snag some of the sassy accessories I have been eyeing. Featured above are two Tiki Palm wristlets, a Lilly scarf and two Boca bangles featured in some of my favorite prints, from oldies (First Impressions, Let’s Cha Cha, and Dripping in Jewels) to new goodies (Tropical Storm).

The night before, make sure you have an account and that it is updated so you don’t lose precious time at checkout.
The sale opens at 8 am and you will be placed in a virtual line so make sure you open the site a few minutes before hand.

From Peaches to Beaches

After this chilly Christmas, we were ready to head somewhere sunny and 75. And what better place to spend New Years than in Miami? We hopped off the plane in Palm Beach and cruised down the coast. First stop, Fort Lauderdale!

We sunbathed and sipped champagne all day, and the girls played beach volleyball all night.

We found a few new friends on the way to dinner as we made our way to some yummy dive spots, from The Pirate Republic to my favorite, Bahia Cabana. Both restaurants were local hangouts full of character where you can dine on the water and watch the yachts sail at sunset.

Cruising into Miami, we came across an awesome concert, the Capital One Beach Bash, right on the sands of South Beach, featuring Macklemore and Imagine Dragons!

The biggest event of the trip was the Orange Bowl, where we got to watch Clemson beat Oklahoma in our box seats, what a treat.

Finally we ended our trip with a bang by attending the Anchor Drop in downtown Lauderdale. What better way to kick off the New Year than with your favorite people in your favorite place?

Christmas with the Angels

Once a year, each of the Angels ‘fly’ in from all over to gather at our family home on the lake. It is the best time of the year because not only do I receive presents, but most importantly I get their presence!

Speaking of presents, here’s a peek of our stock pile before all of the unwrapping madness began.

I have been blessed with so many great gifts this year. Santa has stopped by some of my favorite stores, from Victoria’s Secret and to Lilly Pulitzer to Jack Rogers and more.

My top present picks are: Rose Gold Iphone 6s, Lilly Pulitzer Vest, Jack Rogers Sparkle Sandals, Tone It Up Bundle, and my Victoria’s Secret Silk Pajamas.

Aside from all the goodies, the biggest treat is truly spending time with friends and family. Not only do we get to gather here at home, but we will also be traveling to Miami for New Years! Stay tuned for our next trip…

No Time Like Tea Time

Every year, the ladies of Rock Hill gather at the Women’s Club for the oh-so elegant, Christmasville Tea. My grandmother has forever been a member of the club, and it is always a treat to make it in town to visit her for the event. I was happy to have my parents join us as well.

Upon entering, we were greeted by charming carolers singing along the stairway. Tables were topped with vintage lace and tasty tea. We were served rounds of savory sweets, starting with biscuits and jam, followed by salty sandwiches, and completed with sweet treats.

I never leave the ladies without a side-trip to the Sugarplum Shop. They have an adorable array of local artwork and gifts, perfect for Santa’s stocking stuffers. This is one of my favorite Christmasville events, and I can’t wait to see what the rest of this holiday season has in store!
