Baby Beach

Asking around Aruba, we learned that one of the best beaches is Baby Beach. From lovely lagoons to crystal blue water, this place is truly a slice of paradise.

On this island, you can have the best of both worlds. You can snorkel in the serene waters, then take a little walk around the rocks.

It was great catching up with my sisters while catching some rays. We loved and sipping on Mai Tais and talking at the tiki bar.

This afternoon was certainly a daytrip to dream about. I cant wait to explore and see what else is in store on the enchanting island of Aruba.

Horsing Around in Aruba

Aruba is known for its amazing beaches, so what better way to explore, than by horse? My parents surprised myself and the girls by taking us riding at Gold Mine Ranch.

We wandered up the windy roads of Aruba and made our way over to the ocean. Climbing up to cactus lined cliffs, we headed down to the sandy shores.

What a great memory, getting to ‘giddy up with my girls? It was hard to say goodbye as we rode by the waves.

The greatest tour guide was my girl, Elegancia. She was the sweetest horse that showed me around this amazing island. We certainly had a wild ride, but I think we were both ready head back to the ranch. Until next time, Gold Mine!

Flamingo Beach

Over the years, my family have always asked where we should go on vacation. I always share my bucket list trip, Flamingo Beach. This year my family took me up on the idea, and soon, we were off to Aruba!

We stayed at the Renaissance Hotel right along the beach. It is the only hotel that has direct access to the private island. In just a short boat ride from the hotel, you are transported to the paradise.

My family surprised us with a charming cabana overlooking the ocean. With champagne in our hand and our name etched in the sand, we were ready to relax.

In an island lined with flamingos, I was in a pink paradise. These beautiful birds paraded around the beach as tourists took the perfect pictures.

All my dreams came true when I had the chance to feed these flamingos and pose for the most fabulous photo-op. It was certainly surreal to swim with my spirit animals.

As if the day couldn’t get any better, we ventured across the beach to find the baby flamingos. If you are like me and have never seen a baby flamingo, you would be wondering why they are white. The truth? They have not eaten all of their shrimp yet! They are so cute but dont get too close, as they are quite shy.

The adults, on the other hand, stroll through the sand and literally eat out of palm of your hand. This island had everything you need, from palm trees to pina coladas. I couldn’t wait to see what more there was to expolore in Aruba.

We were sad to flamin-GO, but a bye bye bird bath softened the blow. We packed up our bags and left the beach. I wanted to take one of these little guys with me, but I was happy to leave with such sweet memories.

Blogger Brunch at the Colony

Recently I was invited to attend an exclusive blogger event at the prestigious Colony Hotel in Palm Beach. I couldn’t wait to pay this pretty pink hotel a visit.

If you haven’t booked a summer trip you must add it to your list. This boutique hotel is a blogger’s dream, from palm leaf lined halls to pink striped walls.

The patio was sprinkled with swag bags and stylish tablescapes from fabulous local businesses. The set-up was so inviting and truly tickled pink.

Our table was full of bloggers, instagrammers, models and more. It was the perfect platform for networking in my niche industry. We enjoyed speaking about Instagram strategies as we enjoyed our sweet little brunch snacks.

Our event would not be complete without a couple photo ops. My newfound friends and I hit the pool for a few pics and made our way inside to explore the polo lounge and more.

I cannot wait to get back together with these girls, create content, and continue to grow in my Palm Beach blogger community.

Stay tuned and follow along for our next gathering!

The Honda Classic

Spring has arrived and so has the Honda Classic. This event was yet another perk to living in Palm Beach. I couldn’t wait to make a trip to the tournament and enjoy the sunny Saturday.

The tournament started out with a sweet stranger giving me her ticket upon arrival. After that our first stop was for champagne, naturally. We marveled at the Moet tower and stopped for a photo op.

We poured a to-go glass and went to watch the tournament. On our way down the path, a ball brushed over our heads and landed by our feet. We watched as the crowds and cameras gathered around us. Our group  instantly had a front row seat for a final round! I must say this is the only golf we watched, but boy was it exciting.

Soon, my sister and I were sidetracked by none other than the Lilly Pulitzer lounge. You could say it was quite the ‘par-tee!’ They served signature cocktails out of printed tumblers, while you shopped the latest collection of golf gear. We had a blast meeting fellow blogger, “Amy Believes in Pink,” and playing in the photo booth.

Looking back, I was sad to see the tournament come to an end, but I was happy to head back to the resort for the fireworks. The finale wouldn’t be complete without an after party and hotel suite. What a great way to end a  great day here in PGA!
