Don’t get your tinsel in a tangle trying to find your perfect holiday flick. I’ve compiled a list of my favorite feel good romance movies to hype up your holiday. Grab something fuzzy and fizzy and cuddle up to these Christmas classics.

Merry Kissmas – This feel good flick follows a girl with the wrong guy who falls for Mr. Right, with the help of an elevator incident.
Mistletoe Promise – Two seasonal cynics cross paths and make a pact to play each other’s dates for the holidays.
Christmas Kiss- After a spontaneous stranger’s kiss, a girl makes the mistake of falling for her boss’ beau.
The Spirit of Christmas- This spooky romance follows a girl who meets a mysterious man, who is somewhat ‘unavailable,’ to say the least.
A Boyfriend for Christmas- Santa fulfills a woman’s wish, bringing her a boyfriend just in the ‘nick’ of time.

St. Patrick’s Day: From Palm Leaves to Pineapples

This Spring has been heavily inspired by pineapples and palm leaves, so i wanted to incorporate these trends into my St. Patrick’s Day ensembles. After all, green is the new pink!

Palm fronds were popularized by the classic Hollywood Regency home style, and have now been reincarnated into todays fashions. These iconic leaves wallpapered the halls of the Beverly Hills Hotel and are now wrapping the latest garments this season.

For southern women, St. Patrick’s Day is all about strutting your stuff down the streets, and my girls definitely did not disappoint. The Lilly ladies and I painted the town pink and pineapple with the new Flamenco print.

Brooke and I were caught twinning in the latest Lilly Pulitzer looks. What can I say, great minds think alike! Pineapples have always been my favorite spring inspiration, and this quote surely sums it up: “Be a pineapple: stand tall, wear a crown, and be sweet on the inside.”

No Time Like Tea Time

Every year, the ladies of Rock Hill gather at the Women’s Club for the oh-so elegant, Christmasville Tea. My grandmother has forever been a member of the club, and it is always a treat to make it in town to visit her for the event. I was happy to have my parents join us as well.

Upon entering, we were greeted by charming carolers singing along the stairway. Tables were topped with vintage lace and tasty tea. We were served rounds of savory sweets, starting with biscuits and jam, followed by salty sandwiches, and completed with sweet treats.

I never leave the ladies without a side-trip to the Sugarplum Shop. They have an adorable array of local artwork and gifts, perfect for Santa’s stocking stuffers. This is one of my favorite Christmasville events, and I can’t wait to see what the rest of this holiday season has in store!
