As we watch summer slip away in September, you can see the seasons start to change. Autumn makes its way to the beach as we bundle up beneath the dunes.

A sweet retreat here on the Outer Banks has to be Jockey’s Ridge State Park. I love to sneak away to these little hideaways for sightseeing and sunsets.

Day trips to the dunes forever bring fabulous views, from hang gliders overhead to wildlife in the waters. Adventure awaits you, whether you wander through the woods or slide down the sands. I can’t wait to see what else this season has in store…

It was the perfect day in my hometown, sunny and 75, as you could feel Spring was in the air. The buds in the backyard were blooming and it was the best time to don my sunny shoulder ensemble.

Some Bunny Loves You

Over the weekend, my family headed down south to meet my boyfriend and I for and egg-celent Easter celebration.

It was Spring Break and we were beach bound, so we rented a happy little house on Tybee Island. The trip was full of fun, from bridal showers to beaches and brunches.

The highlight was having our holiday meal at my favorite eatery on the island, The Social Club. I ordered a mimosa flight, followed by fritatas and patatas.

The weekend was wrapped up in seersucker and tied up in a bow. What better way to end a Sunday?

 

Christmas with the Angels

Once a year, each of the Angels ‘fly’ in from all over to gather at our family home on the lake. It is the best time of the year because not only do I receive presents, but most importantly I get their presence!

I have been blessed with so many great gifts this year. Santa has stopped by some of my favorite stores, from Victoria’s Secret and to Lilly Pulitzer to Jack Rogers and more.

My top present picks are: Rose Gold Iphone 6s, Lilly Pulitzer Vest, Jack Rogers Sparkle Sandals,  Tone It Up Bundle, and my Victoria’s Secret Silk Pajamas.

Aside from all the goodies, the biggest treat is truly spending time with friends and family. Not only do we get to gather here at home, but we will also be traveling to Miami for New Years! Stay tuned for our next trip…
