Palm Beach Pumpkin Patch

blonde girl wearing ralph lauren and gucci in stoney clover pumpkin patch in palm beach

Fall is in full swing here in Palm Beach. This week I was able to visit one of my favorite shopping spots, The Royal Poinciana Plaza. Nestled between Stoney Clover and Love Shack Fancy, was the most insta-worthy pumpkin patch.

Now this isn’t your average Fall photo-op. Nicole Shaffer from Flower Love Palm Beach put a preppy twist on this Fall festivity, from pink pumkins and a wagon to pop in front of the picket fence.

The best part is when you finish snapping your selfies, you can shop at Stoney Clover and head over to the Honor Bar for a cocktail. This was a perfect ending to an Autumn day walking the Plaza with my best babes. I can’t wait to see what pop up is next over the holidays!

Blogger Brunch at the Colony

Recently I was invited to attend an exclusive blogger event at the prestigious Colony Hotel in Palm Beach. I couldn’t wait to pay this pretty pink hotel a visit.

If you haven’t booked a summer trip you must add it to your list. This boutique hotel is a blogger’s dream, from palm leaf lined halls to pink striped walls.

The patio was sprinkled with swag bags and stylish tablescapes from fabulous local businesses. The set-up was so inviting and truly tickled pink.

Our table was full of bloggers, instagrammers, models and more. It was the perfect platform for networking in my niche industry. We enjoyed speaking about Instagram strategies as we enjoyed our sweet little brunch snacks.

Our event would not be complete without a couple photo ops. My newfound friends and I hit the pool for a few pics and made our way inside to explore the polo lounge and more.

I cannot wait to get back together with these girls, create content, and continue to grow in my Palm Beach blogger community.

Stay tuned and follow along for our next gathering!

Weekend in Raleigh

My sister Savannah took me on a trip for a weekend in Raleigh. What else do a couple stylish sisters need than a shopping spree? There are two trendy streets that house all of the hottest shops. North Hills and Cameron Village are full of designer fashion, home goods, hostess gifts and adorable accessories. Of course my first stop was Lilly Pulitzer, but I have also added more of my top picks for prep-wear and presents. Follow along as I list all of my fave stores and fab finds.

North Hills

  1. Lilly Pulitzer- Corporate store
  2. Charlotte’s- High end prep wear
  3. Monkee’s- Chic pieces
  4. Paper Source- Great giftables

Cameron Village

  1. Palm Avenue- Lilly Pulitzer signature store
  2. Charlotte’s- High end prep wear
  3. The Local Squirrel- Perfect for presents
  4. Fifi’s Fine Resale- Designer resale

I hope this list helped you plan out your next Raleigh trip. Take a look below to see some of the  pieces that popped into my shopping cart.

Christmas in the Keys

Every winter my family plans a tropical trip, to trade in snowflakes for sand and sunshine. This year we headed to Key West for Christmas. What a great escape! I couldn’t wait to drop my bags and pick up my margarita.

We stayed by the marina at The Marker, a resort style boutique hotel hidden beneath the palm trees. The pool was certainly a luxe place to lounge. For other ways to catch some rays, we took the trolley to the beach. We hit the sand courts for a quick volley then headed over to Mallory Square for the sunset celebration. By nightfall we hit the hot spots downtown on Duval for live music and liquor drinks. We sipped on Sloppy ‘Ritas and danced the night away.

The next day we walked the streets for sweets and shopping. We explored the Lilly store, and picked out the perfect pair of stardust hoops, and the exclusive St. Tropez tanning set. We also visited Alex & Ani for matching bracelets, and Fresh Produce for a sassy sun hat. My favorite stop was treasure hunting at the Mel Fisher Museum. I loved looking through the gorgeous gold and gems uncovered from the ocean floor.

We then made our way to the marina for sunset drinks on our friend’s fabulous yacht. We had a great time watching the waves while enjoying hors d’oeuvres on the deck. What a perfect ending to another day in paradise.

On our last afternoon, we took a tour of the town, from the Southernmost Point to the Mile O sign and more. We even made a stop at Ernest Hemingway’s home. Shortly after, we were off for the airport. I must say, it was hard to head out, but I was happy to leave with sun- kissed skin and a pocket full of postcards. That’s what I call a successful stay.

H&M Hits Savannah

hm5

Last week was the long- awaited launch of the H&M in Savannah. The grand opening was August 4th on Broughton Street, our stylish shopping district. The sidewalk was lined with savvy shoppers awaiting the brand’s arrival, and their swag bags!

We watched from work across the street, and snuck over. The line was bumping with Beyonce music and we just made the cut for these cute bags. The first 250 customers received these goodies, along with the coveted 25% off coupon.

The girls and I stormed the store with four stories of sales. I got stuck in the sunnies section, and theres no question why. I mean look at these summer accessories! I made my way to the tops and soon came across some sequin tees with flamingos and palm trees. Can you say vacay?

This chic store brought a more modern feel to the otherwise historical style downtown. The fab fashion and low prices drew in the hot young crowd, and the trendy tunes made playing dress- up fun again. What do you think about all of Broughton street’s new boutiques?
