St. Patrick’s in Savannah

My favorite time of the year has to be Spring, because not only is it St’ Patrick’s Day but it’s our annual trip to Savannah! I have a lot of history here, as my mom grew up here and I went to college in this special city. I couldn’t wait to catch up with my cousins and see my sisters, and go out with my girls.

We rented a historic home downtown to fit all of our family and friends for the weekend. Once we settled in, we were off to stroll the streets. Walking down Broughton, our crew grabbed some to-gosas and made our first stop at Palm Avenue, the Lilly Pulitzer Store. I  worked here for years and had to stop by and see my bestie and shop the latest Spring looks. What a fun afternoon spree shopping with the ladies while the boys bar hopped.

Saturday was when the party really started. It was a beautiful day to watch the parade. Ive always loved watching the floats fly by and blowing kisses to the soldiers as they make their sweep down the street. the parade was over we were off to tailgate in the Savannah Square, to see and be seen. Once the sun went down we hit the town. We hit our favorite hot spots, sipped our favorite freezies, and danced the night away. I can’t think of a better time to kick off Spring than St. Patty’s in Savannah!

Easter Pups

Easter was an ‘egg’xtra special one last year. Every bunny had a great time with our precious puppies. I helped host Life’s a Beach’s 8th annual ASPCA Adoption Event. A portion of the proceeds went to our local shelter, and we invited some of their sweet faces to be adopted.

The first couple came by and scooped up our first pup. The coolest part was that they adopted one of our dogs last year, and then came back for another! They fell in love with their new furry friend and couldn’t wait to take him home. We also had a bundle of puppies up next at our event, but there was actually a line out the door waiting for them before they headed our way!

I have to say, one of our cutest characters had to be Hank. He was a sweetheart, who was still in search for his forever home. We later hosted a party in his honor to meet his future family.

After working with these adorable dogs, I couldn’t wait to head home and play with my own. Meet Coco and Gigi, my own little cuddle pups we adopted from Carolina Poodle Rescue years ago.

As you can see, I was more than ready to spend Easter with my furry fam! You know I can’t resist a great matching moment, and the babies looked best in their new bandanas. Love my ladies in Lilly!

The Royal Hawaiian

Walking down the the beaches of Waikiki, I came across this historic Honolulu hotel, the Royal Hawaiian. This luxurious landmark has always been on my bucket list. This week I was was able to explore this pink castle, and check it off my list.

This place is every girls dream, from peachy pink walls to palm tree halls and everything in between. This hotel also houses one of the early Tori Richard stores and so much more.

Stepping outside, my first stop was the Mai Tai Bar. It’s a great place to check out the scene while you sip on favorite umbrella drink. Next, make your way over to to your private pink cabana by the pool.

Let your hair down by the spa before you leave for the luau. Then hit the beach for a sunset retreat. What more could you ask for, than hideaway day at the Royal Hawaiian?

Headquarters in Honolulu

Last week I was lucky enough to hop on a plane and head over to Hawaii. You may think I was off on a vacay getaway, but actually it was all work… and some play. Now that I am officially a sales rep for Tori Richard Honolulu, the next step is to hit headquarters in Honolulu.

I first took a tour of the offices, from the design department to the rooftop lounge and everywhere in between. I was even able to attend meetings for a sneak peek at Summer 2019. My favorite part was flipping through vintage files and fabrics.

After headquarters, we headed to the flagship store in Honolulu. I was excited to make my first stop to a corporate Tori shop. It was full of fab prints so of course I had to snag these chic pieces.

This store was gorgeous, and I couldn’t wait to make my way to the Royal Hawaiian to see our second location. The hotel was covered in pink and palm trees, two of favorite things. Walking through you can view our fabulous fashions before you hit the beach. What more could you ask for?

Well I have to say the top of my trip was on- location photoshoot fun. I was asked to be a model in their national ad campaign, and I couldn’t wait to participate. We shot all over the island, from the beach to the marina and more. It was so fun to be styled in the summer collection, but the best part was rocking roller skates. That’s all I can spill for now, you will have to wait until summer to see for yourself. Until then, see you soon Hawaii!

Weekend on Worth Avenue

I have always dreamed of walking the streets of Palm Beach. Last week I was lucky enough to pass through for work and ended up staying to play!

My sister stays in West Palm so I thought this would be the perfect time to pop by. Her birthday was that weekend so what better way to celebrate that with your sibling?

We started off at our favorite brunch spot, the rooftop restaurant at Restoration Hardware. It’s named as ‘the best way to peer through the city through its crown.’

Afternoons here are always a grand affair, where chandeliers shimmer beneath glass ceilings. What a view! After we sipped the last bit of bubbles we were off to the famous Worth Avenue for some window shopping.

I loved walking past the palm trees and into the vias as I stopped into the shops. Each was filled with designer gowns and the most glamorous pieces in town.

I havd to say, the best ending to our day was making our way to the beach. What’s better than having your toes in the sand and shopping bags in hand?
